They are hoping to repeat themselves next weekend. For now, Bakari Jackson and Eric Dols will celebrate victories on their home front. Jackson leapt to victory in  the Triple Jump with a 43-11.25 showing and Dols led a 1-2-3 HU finish in the Hammer Throw with a 183-09 effort to lead the way for the Pipers' men's team at the Meet of the UnSaintly at Klas Field.

Hamline had 13 top five finishes against competitors from Division I (Minnesota), Division II (Minnesota-Duluth, South Dakota, Concordia-St. Paul) and several D-III schools in the nonscoring meet.

For example, Dols was closely followed by Travis Jacobson (2nd, 176-02) and Ray Culp (third, 163-02) in sweeping the top three places in the Hammer. Jacobson also took third in  the Shot Put, one place ahead of Chase Duwenhoegger. Thane Widmer also had a nifty double. coming in third in the 200 Meters and fourth in the 100 race. The 4 x 400 contingent of Sam Gatton, Matt Pratt, Jordan Grier and Isaac Krause took second in a time of 3:22.61.

Other top five efforts included Dylan See-Rockers and Nick Powell going 4-5 in the High Jump and Gatton placing fourth in the 400 Hurdles. Kyle Mehrhof (pictured) was eighth in the 1500 Meters.

It was the last chance to face competition before the MIAC meet which will be held at Klas Field May 12-13.
