Cate Reynolds hails from Missouri, which is known as "The Show Me" state. The senior showed 'em, indeed, in her final home gymnastics meet for Hamline Saturday at Walker Field House. Reynolds scored 9.625 to lead the pack in the Vault competition. It was the Pipers' lone event triumph in a 187.125-184.625 loss to Wis-Oshkosh.
Hamline was dazzling on the Vault. In addition to Reynolds' top notch effort,
Rosie Giese was second (9.575) with Caitlyn Cooper and
Alyssa Huch part of a fourth place tie at 9.525.
Reynolds was also the top Piper on the Uneven Parallel Bars, finishing third with a 9.250. HU controlled the three spots directly behind her as well with
Lydia Ingram coming in fourth (9.150) and the tandem of
Kelsey Ranneklev and
Morgan Bradford tying for fifth at 9.100.
Olivia Kressler and
Sydney Tribbett tied for second in the Floor Exercise (9.625) with Alexa Vorderbruggen tying for fifth at 9.500.
