Gabby Koel showed she is ready for the MIAC Indoor Track/Field Meet next weekend at St. Thomas.. The senior threw the Shot Put 41-00.25 Friday night to win the competition at the St. Olaf Invite in Northfield. Koel's throw is the second  best by any MIACer during the indoor season. Jessie Jueneman, a freshman, was fourth in the same event (36-8.50). 

Kiana Verdugo was second in the Weight Throw with a 46-10 performance. Koel had a season high 45-10.5 effort to finish third with Allyson Opps next in line at 43-00.25. 

The meet was unscored.
