Madeline Dopp led a tightly packed Hamline contingent to a 10th place finish at the prestigious Roy Griak Invitational at the U of Minnesota Saturday morning. The sophomore closed fast to finish in 36th place in the 210 runner field, running the 6K course in 26:07. Dopp was in 62nd place halfway through the race and then picked nup steam at the finish.
Alyssa Nash was 41st (26:17.8) and followed closely by
Meg Griffin (42nd, 26:19.1).
Holly Hankins came in 53rd (26:36.2) with
Mariah Gallagher close behind at 56th (26:51.2).
The Pipers have two more meets before going head-to-head with their conference compadres at the MIAC meet October 29.
Hamline's next competition is at St. Catherine on Saturday, October 8.
