There was a lot to cheer about Friday for the Hamline gymnastics team. Sela Fadness has a first, a second and a third place finish as the Pipers recorded a season high score in winning their first meet of the year, defeating UW-Stout, 185.775-182.975, before an enthusiastic crowd at Walker Field House.
Fadness was the last competitor on the mat for the Floor Exercise. But she emerged with the best score of the night, registering an impressive 9.650. The Pipers also took four of the next five spots with Danielle Dudley and Sidney Tribbet tying for third (9.425) followed by Cate Reynolds and Rosie Giese.Â
She was second on the Balance Beam (9.475) and came in third on the Vault (9.575). Morgan Bradford led a HU contingent that went 4-8 on the Uneven Parallel Bars.

Hamline will host Gustavus Adolphus on Sunday, February 14. The meet will be in Hutton Arena and will begin at 1:00 p.m.
