Hamline's men's team recorded seven wins and seven second place finishes to overcome two MIAC foes and finish first at the Hamster Track and Field meet at Macalester Friday.  HU finished with 84 points, defeating St. John's (60) and Macalester (28).

Thane Widmer (400 meters, pictured), Isaac Krause (800), Ryan Peterson (Mile), Dylan Olson (60 Hurdles), Steve Zingsheim (Pole Vault) and Eric Dols (Shot Put) won their individual events and the 4 x 400 relay team of Widmer, Krause, Matt Pratt and Jacob Prouty also emerged triumphant. 

The Pipers had two 1-2-3-4 finishes in events. Widmer led the way in the 400 Meters but was followed closely by Prouty, Jesse Green and Clay Wimmer. Dols unloaded the longest Shot Put of the night with Chase Duwenhoegger, Travis Jacobson and Mitchell Maday next in line.
