Both Piper track and field teams placed second at the CSB/SJU Invite held in Collegeville, February 21. 

The men totaled 139 points while the women finished with 135.5. 

James Logan won the Mile Run one day after running a 3K race. His time of 4:29.76 took the event by two seconds. Ryan Peterson (1000 Meters, 2:34.53), Travis Jacobsen (Weight Throw, 54-6) and Joe Matheson (Pole Vault, 15-1 3/4) also recorded wins. Jaimen Hampton also went 21 feet in the long jump for a PR and a second place finish.

On the women's side, Carolyn Saulsberry (Long Jump 16-8 3/4, Triple Jump, 37-1 1/4 - a new school record, 60 Hurdles, 9.08),Kristy Dellwo (400 Meters, 1:01.98 and Marissa Fiecke (600 Meters, 1:40.25) recorded wins with Mariah Gallagher (3000 Meters, PR, 11:12.07) and Jordan Walls (Pole Vault, 10-2) taking impressive second place finishes.

In addition, both 4 x 400 teams won their races.
