The Cross Country team that runs together also has PRs together.

The five Hamline women's cross country runners competing in the Tori Neubauer Invitational October 15 in Errick, Wis. recorded personal best times while finishing 21 seconds apart. Madeline Dopp led the HU contingent in the 6K race finishing 54th in the 300-runner field in a time of 24:08. Meg Griffin (pictured) was 59th in 24:17 with Mariah Gallagher coming in 66th in 24:26. Kathleen Miles was close behind in 68th at 24:28 and Holly Hankins was 71st (24:29). Hamline's total of 317 points landed them in 10th place, ahead of five MIAC teams (including St. Benedict, rated eighth in the region).

It was a huge improvement for the women's team that was 20th in this meet last year.

It was the last prelim for the Pipers before the MIAC Championships October 29 at Como Golf Course.
