Running almost as a pack, the Hamline women's cross country team strode to an eighth place finish among 17 D-III teams competing at the prestigious Roy Griak Invitational at the U of Minnesota Saturday.Â

Mariah Gallagher's 43rd place finish, HU garnered 239 points, besting, among other schools, MIAC foes St. Catherine and Bethel.
Gallagher, a sophomore, finished the 6K route in 25:55.5.
Madeline Dopp, a freshman, was close behind in 45th (25:58.7). Her teammate, senior
Breanna Kennedy, was next at 26:05.5 followed directly by another freshman,
Meg Griffin, who clocked in at 26:08.4.Â
Sarissa Falk, a junior, was the fifth scorer in 58th place (26:35.9).Â
