It was the first meet of the year. But
Nathan Rock and
James Logan looked to be in mid-season form. Rock finished eighth (sixth among college runners) and Logan 28th to lead Hamline's cross country contingent at the Luther All-American Invitational in Decorah, Iowa Sept. 12. Rock, one of just two seniors on the 2015 Pipers, ran the four mile course in 20:43.6. Logan, a junior also made the Top 30 with a 21:27.6 clocking.
Ronnie Stimson was 42nd (22:04) with freshmen
Tony Duchenes (75th, 22:50.5) and
Chris Covert (78th, 22:52.5) finishing out the top five.
Hamline totaled 145 points to place sixth in the seven team field.
HU returns to the course Sept. 26 at the prestigious Roy Griak Invitational.
