Hamline's women's track and field team collected three first place finishes and a slew of seconds in their first outdoor meet of the season in Collegeville Saturday. HU totaled 142 points to finish in third place in a four-way meet with St. Benedict, Concordia and Martin Luther.
Andrea Haus ran past the field to win the 1500 Meter Run in 5:03.49.
Carolyn Saulsberry leapt her way to a top standing with a 36-2 1/4 effort in the Triple Jump and
Jessica Putland threw the Hammer 149-8 for a victory there.
HU also got second place efforts from
Izzy Shafer (100 & 200 Meters),
Alyssa Nash (800 Meters), the 4 x 400 Meter Relay team of Haus, Saulsberry, Shafer and
Kristy Dellwo, Jerri Koltveit (Discus),
Merina Lenz (Pole Vault) and
Erin Urbanowicz (Hammer).
