Hamline's women track & field team had a pair of first place finishes and a total of 14 top five finishes en route to a third place finish at the CSB Invite Saturday. Jessica Putland and Merina Lenz had the wins to lead the Piper contingent. 

Putland won the Weight Throw with a 52-7 1/2 toss. Lenz tied for first in the Pole Vault (10-0). 

Putland led a 2-3-4 finish in the Shot Put. She threw 47-2 1/2. Erin Urbanowicz was third in this event (42-4 3/4). Jerri Koltveit (pictured) was fourth. Urbanowicz also finished third in the Weight Throw (49-7). 

Speedster Izzy Shafer was second in the 60 Meter Dash (8.10) and third in the 200 meters (27.07). 

Hamline scored 111 points, trailing St. Benedict and St. Scholastica. They finished ahead of Gustavus, UM-Morris and Concordia.
