Hamline went 1-2-3-4 in the Floor Exercise but Winona State's balance won out and the Pipers lost a tight 185.900-185.000 gymnastics decision Tuesday night at Walker Field House. The 185 total points was Hamline's second best overall effort of the season.
Sela Fadness scored one of two Piper wins on the night with a 9.500 in the floor event. She was closely followed by
Alexa Vorderbruggen (9.450),
Olivia Kressler (9.400) and
Erika Briscoe (9.350).
Jackie Clement had the other win, taking the Vault competition with a solid 9.525 score.
Alexis Nault tied for fourth with a 9.400 score.
Nault (pictured) was the top Piper on the Uneven Parallel Bars coming in third with a 9.250 effort.
Courtney Morrison was second (9.425) and Briscoe was third on the Balance Beam (9.375) for the other top five finishes of the night.

Hamline returns to action this Sunday, February 22 when they join the Warriors, Gustavus Adolphus and the Golden Gophers at the annual best of Minnesota meet held at the U-M Sports Paviillon. The meet begins at 2 p.m.
