The Hamline men's track and field meet made themselves feel right at home at Carleton Saturday. The Pipers racked up seven individual titles and a relay crown to total 179 points and beat back the field to win the four team event Saturday.

Hamline did well in track and field events. On the track, Will Warmka and James Logan scored victories with Tom Larson, Andy Magnuson, Cole Konczal and Eric Hanson finishing in second place.

On the field side, Jordan Steward, Mark Volker, Jacob Pederson, Chase Duwenhoegger and Joey Grussing finished atop the field in their respective events.

Warmka set a school record with a 1:21.93 clocking in the 600 Meters that is also the best in the MIAC so far this winter. Logan's time of 8:56.91 edged out Magnuson in a tight, tense 3000 Meter race. The Pipers also won the 4 x 200 Relay race.

Steward won the Long Jump (1.93m). Volker's 4.60m took top honors in the Pole Vault. Pederson leapt past the field to take the Triple Jump (12.65m). Duwenhoegger led a 1-2-3 finish in the Shot Put. Chase's throw of 13.73m edged out Grussing with Pierce Heston coming in third. Grussing's 15.84m throw was a full meter better than the rest of the field. Heston finished third.
