That was quite an opening effort for Hamline's Joey Grussing and Tom Larson. Grussing, a junior, had a personal best 52-4 to finish fourth in the Weight Throw at the Northwest Open held at the University of Minnesota Saturday. Larson (pictured) sped to a fifth place finish in the 200 Meters in a time of 23.65. The junior also was seventh in the 60 Meter dash (8.18 seconds). The pair were the only HU participants in the nonscoring meet. 

Hamline will head to another nonscoring meet next weekend at Carleton.
