This is what senior leaders do -- lead. Andrea Haus finished 31st to top all HU runners at the annual Luther Invitational Saturday. The senior clocked the 5K run in 20:25.2. Alyssa Nash, a freshman, was 39th (20:39.2) and Mariah Gallagher (also a freshman) was nearby, coming 42nd (20:55.4). As a team, Hamline finished with 162 points, sixth place in the seven-team field. The Pipers next compete at the Roy Griak Invitational at the U of Minnesota on September 27.
