It wasn't exactly the home farewell Hamline was looking for. But all agreed it was a good show anyway.
Competing before their largest crowd of the season at Walker Field House, Hamline dropped their final home meet of the season to a deep UW-Eau Claire team, 183.475-180.425. Ir marked the second time this year HU had cracked the 180 point barrier.
The Blugolds took victories in all four categories but HU junior
Courtney Benson claimed her fifth All-Around honor of the year with a 36.900 score. The Winona whiz was second in Floor Exercise (9.575), third in Vault (9.425) and fourth on the Balance Beam (9.200).
Kambria Blakely (pictured) had the Pipers' other second place finish with a 9.450 score.
Hamline will compete at the Best Of Minnesota meet Saturday at the U of M Field House.
